ABOUT US
We are a British manufacturing company that designs, develops and manufactures bi-folding door hardware.
The founder Graham Fawthrop has over 25 years’ experience with external bi folding doors, having been involved with the moveable glass wall specialist Solarlux GMBH for many years.
Graham was then involved with a UK aluminium systems house who achieved major success with their bi folding door systems.
In 2009 Graham formed Debar to start designing & developing its own bi fold hardware range which would fit numerous chamber systems for companies wishing to add bi-fold doors to their portfolio of products.
In addition, Debar has designed the complete bi- fold door system “Dewall” and this is adopted by many companies under their own brand. In 2015 we were awarded “Best in Show” at Glasbuild, Atlanta, USA.
Debar has continued to develop bi-fold hardware for general supply and bi-fold door system specific hardware for major companies around the globe. Debar currently supply in excess of 200+ companies and currently export to 12 countries.
In 2017 Debar brought manufacturing in-house and currently have the following CNC machines: 5 HAAS VF2SS 4 axis VMC, 2 HAAS Mini mill 3 axis VMC, 3 HURCO 3 axis VMC and 2 HAAS ST10 lathes.
THE TEAM
Currently the team is 125+ strong and growing rapidly, with plans for further additions to the team.
We operate from 65,000 sq ft premises in the historic city of Bradford, Yorkshire, England, home of the famous “Brontë Sisters”.
We are continually investing in our staff, premises and machinery to ensure we meet the demands for our continued expansion.
We are ISO9001:2015 accredited and all staff work had to achieve these high standards every day.
Our suppliers form an integral part of our team and in particular we work closely with BSI to independently test our systems in the UK.
Debar have gained an excellent reputation within the industry with staff giving the best possible level of service, advice and guidance with all of our bi-folding door hardware products.
